Visa (Hong Kong SAR passport)
Holders of Hong Kong SAR passports are generally covered by the Thailand–HK bilateral visa exemption for tourism — commonly about 30 days. Thailand revised some unilateral exemption/VoA schemes from September 2026; Hong Kong sits under the bilateral track, but rules change — confirm with the Thai Consulate in Hong Kong or Immigration before you fly.
- Passport validity often expected 6+ months
- Return/onward ticket and accommodation details may be checked
- Arrival cards / digital declarations: follow airline & Immigration on the day
- BN(O) and other passport types may differ — do not assume SAR rules apply
